Established in 1974, the Western States Farrier's Association provides leadership and resources for the farrier community residing west of the Mississippi . In 1977, the WSFA became the first chapter member of the American Farrier's Association. Through the resolve of our dedicated and talented member base, we've remained #1 in our pursuit of continuing education for the farrier community.

While our site provides insight into who we are and what we do, it's simply an introduction. Spend some time looking through our windows here, but see it as an invitation to come through our doors and join us as we strive to improve the welfare of the horse.

Not just for farriers, the WSFA is for any and all interested in farrier education. Veterinarians, horse owners, and all in the equine community are welcome in the WSFA.
